Introduction

The Homelink75 is a wireless intruder alarm system that

provides several features specially for domestic use.

These include social alarm monitoring (including remote

listen-in capabilities), inactivity alarm monitoring, direct

communication to mobile telephones and voice

messaging.

The heart of the Homelink75 system is the 7510r control

unit. The control unit has:

A graphic display and keypad from which you can

operate the system.

A high output siren for alarms.

A speaker for operating tones, voice prompts and

speech messages.

A power supply, including stand-by batteries.

Signalling equipment supporting all major alarm

reporting formats, including speech messaging.

A proximity tag reader.

Speech recording and playback facilities.

A microphone for remote listen-in.

The control unit can operate a range of wireless

peripherals; Figure 1 shows some examples. (Not shown

in Figure 1 are the special receiver units required to

provide wireless outputs. These will be fitted by the

installer to operate the equipment you specify.)

In addition to wireless peripherals the control unit also

provides sets of connectors for two hardwired detectors

and two relay outputs. If necessary the installer can use

these connectors to link the control unit to older wired

detectors or siren/strobe units.
